Duraid Qureshi, recipient of the Sitara-i-Imtiaz, is a renowned entrepreneur, philanthropist, and the CEO of HUM Network Limited. He co-founded HUM Network in 2005 with his mother, Sultana Siddiqui, with the vision of promoting Pakistan’s culture and positive image worldwide. Under his leadership, HUM launched several successful channels including HUM Masala, South Asia’s first 24-hour food channel; Style 360 (now Hum Sitarey), showcasing Pakistan’s fashion industry; HUM News, one of the country’s leading news channels; and Hum Pashto1 for regional audiences. HUM Network also acquired the rights to Ten Sports Pakistan, further expanding its media portfolio.
Duraid Qureshi received his early education in Karachi and Islamabad and went on to complete his MBA from the prestigious Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).

Through the Pakistan International Film Festival (PiFF), he also promotes film industry growth and gender equality by supporting training and skill development for filmmakers and women professionals.
Duraid Qureshi is a compassionate philanthropist dedicated to making a positive social impact. He co-founded the Momina Duraid Foundation, which manages over 14 schools in Karachi, providing free education to more than 2,000 underprivileged children. He also supports MOVE NGO, offering education to over 400 students. His foundation has organized impactful events like the Karachi Green Marathon and the Hamdard Telethon for flood relief. Internationally, he is a member of Champions of Change Australia, promoting women’s empowerment. In recognition of his efforts, Qureshi has received numerous honors, including Best CEO in Media Sector and the Pride of LUMS Award for his contributions to society.
- Male Champions of Change Meeting Male Champions of Change (MCC) held a meeting on 6th December at The Bank of Khyber’s head office, Peshawar, hosted by MD Muhammad Ali Gulfaraz.
