Based in Lahore, Anum Uzair holds an MPhil in Forensic Sciences and works as a dedicated forensic scientist and mother of two. Her journey into mountaineering began as a natural extension of her love for physical challenges and the outdoors, starting with smaller treks and marathon running. She is vocal about her goal to inspire women in Pakistan to pursue challenging, male-dominated sports and achieve the seemingly impossible. She has broken several barriers in high-altitude sports. She is celebrated for balancing a demanding professional career and family life with her passion for conquering the world’s most formidable peaks.
